Picking a main … Forever

I’ve played a little bit of most of my favorite classes on World of Warcraft Forever, and I’m trying to decide what to main. Somehow it always comes back to Paladin. Personality-wise it just fits me best. I do love mages, mostly for the teleports, because who doesn’t want to skip the boat ride? But I think pally is going to be my thing.

I’m an ex-soldier and a Baha’i, which puts me in a funny spot: I enjoy a good fight, but what I really want is peace and unity. It’s a great contradiction. A Paladin covers both. Hit things with a hammer, then heal everyone afterward.

And let’s not forget the Horde side. My goodness, what a redemption story Forsaken Paladins have! Undead turning back to the Light is better than any 80s comeback montage. I’ll probably play a Forsaken on the PvP phase and a Human for PvE, so I get to see both sides. Once those two hit sixty and are decently geared, I’ll think about leveling that mage. A man can only resist free teleports for so long.
